Concrete 5 related downloads
Concrete’s HTML Editor, Tiny MCE, includes a patch for old Opera browsers which breaks support with newer ones (for example 9.6). Using the Enter key in the editor will lead to weird behaviour.
The fix below is known to work with Concrete 5.1.1
Google Analytics Batch Patcher
This is an application to patch all HTML / HTM / other extension files in a directory and its’ subdirectories.
Usage:
- Start the application. Select the directory you want to be patched. Insert your Analytics code (copy it to the clipboard and press Ctrl + V on the appropriate field). Press “Patch!”.
- If the file already includes Analytics code (more precisely, the magic string ‘var gaJsHost = ((“https:” == document.location.protocol) ? “https://ssl.” : “http://www.”);’) the software won’t patch the file to protect you from patching a file twice.
- If the magic string ‘</body’ is not found, the file is not recognized as HTML file and is not patched.
- You can specify one arbitrary extension, i.e. php. Omit the leading dot!

Sapphire CMS
The Sapphire CMS was built to use with my client’s websites, easily incorporating repeating elements, while at the same time staying at HTML source level. I’ve abandoned it in favour for Concrete 5 these days, still it’s a gem in its own worth. It follows a files and directories paradigm and is based on the TinyButStrong engine and Jim Riggs‘ Textile for PHP library. Some examples will follow shortly.
